In Network Performance Monitor, under the Node Details -> Network Tab -- there is "Current Hardware Health" - and "sensors" are created by Orion.
If Orion places an "other" sensor - it does not graph the value of the sensor, it graphs "availability" (presumably of the sensor) - that's not helpful. We already know the availability of the device.
The "Temperature" sensors graph Temperatures. Good. Showing temperature going up/down.
The "Power Supply" sensors graph Power. Good. Showing power variances up/down.
The "Other" sensors (like Optical Power) show a constant 100% "Availability". Bad. Useless. Should behave just like any other sensor, graph the value over time.
This is critical for monitoring "Optical Power" over time. The value is displayed in the list, but clicking on a sensor reverts to graphing "availability" (which is useless)
Attachments show the sensor list, a sample Temperature Sensor graphing properly, and an example Optical Power sensor graphing erroneously.
Feature Request: Fix/update the "Other" sensor (for at least Optical power, if not all sensors that return a value) so that the VALUE returned is plotted, NOT "availability".
