Suggestions for printer monitoring

I'm trying to setup monitoring on some printers in our environment. (Specifically these are specialized "Credit Card Printers" made by "HID Global")

My goal is to help the employees in this office by giving them a heads up when the printer is low on resources so they can go replace the cartridge.

I can access the printer over the network via http or telnet and this is the output:

-- Ribbon Info -----------------------------------------

  Ribbon Type: YMCKI

  Part Number: 84082

  Percent Remaining: 39

-- Transfer Film Info ----------------------------------

  Film Type: Clear INTM

  Part Number: 84080

  Percent Remaining: 8

Ideally, when the Percent Remaining gets to 10% I could fire off an alert that sends an email to the branch. And as you can see, there are two different consumables: The Ribbon and the Transfer Film

What's the best way to configure SAM to read the text and process accordingly?

I've already built a "Status Only" node representing each printer within NPM.
