Once an override is set on an application, or a component in a template is configured for Use Baseline, there is no centralized way force application components to revert back to template settings.
Case in point:
We have > 90,000 AppInsite for SQL components. When we set it up, the DBAs wanted some components (Worktables created/sec for example) to read current usage and be set to the baseline. Now they no longer want that.
"Please set it to 10 for 2 polls as Warning and 15 for 1 poll as Critical"
We have to go in and manually clear over 1,800 component's metric overrides.
There should be a check box that forces Inherit from Template to be enforced on a component basis when you click the Submit button.
This is doable in SCOMM (wink wink, nudge nudge)
