I am using the WHD asset management tool and have found that my servers and fleet of laptops are all listed at least twice in the database because they have multiple MAC addresses. The assets either have both wired and wireless NICs or multiple NICs. It would be nice to have the option to uniquely identify assets by Network Name or Serial No. Lacking that, it would be nice to have a feature that allows an admin to manually tell the system that an asset is a duplicate of another asset so that it is consolidated and doesn't keep appearing multiple times.
