I've used Nagios in the past and a really useful tool that our support teams used was Nagstamon. Nagstamon is a Nagios status monitor for desktops. instead of users having to leave a full webpage open to the NagiosXI website, they used Nagstamon which only presented Critical and Warning notification, but would flash and make noise when a new alert occurred.
I've installed Solarwinds Desktop Notification tool and enable sound alerts, but it only notifies support staff whenever an alert occurs, and doesn't provide information on the current status of alerts.
Will SolarWinds consider developing a Desktop Status monitor similar to Nagstamon for SAM\Orion?
