My company has adopted a policy of replacing Cisco hardware after six years of use, or at EOS, or based on MTBF, whichever is most appropriate to prevent unexpected outages. As a result I'm looking at replacing ISR routers, ASA's, 6509's doing Core and Distribution functions, AP's, etc.
It makes for a big budget request.
What Cisco items are you planning to purchase in your next budget cycle that will replace some existing functionality?
