As you may have heard, on Sunday during the AFC Championship Game between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots CBS Sports report that the Microsoft Surface tablets "...weren't working" for the New England Patriots. Much dialogue, and camera time, was spent on this "outage". Two plays later the Denver Broncos scored a crucial touchdown. After the game the "outage" was clarified to be a "network outage" and not a problem with the Microsoft Surface tablets. I am sure Microsoft pushed to get that clarification out there.
The old saying, "With Great Risk comes Great Reward!" Should Solarwinds throw their hat in the ring to monitor the network at NFL stadiums for these critical connections?
